Common Name: Dwf Calamint
Scientific Name: Calamintha nepeta ssp
Shape: Mounded, tight uniform habit
Flower: Lilac / White
Light Requirements: Full Sun to Partial Shade
Bloom Time: Mid Summer to Mid Fall
Description: Calamints are close cousins to the garden mint, but without the nasty spreading habit. Highly rated as an edging or rock garden plant with an extremely long season. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. In regions with humid summers this sometimes benefits from a hard clip back in August, to rejuvenate the leaves. Tolerates both dry and moist soils. Attractive to butterflies. Deer Resistant.
